Relief Initiative in North Bengal

In early October 2025, heavy rainfall triggered devastating floods and landslides across North Bengal, severely affecting Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Alipurduar districts. OFFER promptly responded by reaching out to the worst-hit areas of Mal-bazar block and Dhupguri block of Jalpaiguri district on 24^th and 25^th of October with essential relief support — including dry rations, blanket, zeoline for safe drinking water, old clothing, education materials for children and aluminium sheet , sanitary napkin as essential kit. Special care was extended to the affected children and women

OFFER continues this effort with the active support of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, Belur Math and in association with NGO network to stand beside the affected communities, supporting their recovery and rebuilding efforts with compassion and hope. Siliguri Vivekananda Rovers Crew was the local organisation, took the supporting initiative to implement this plan with OFFER
