Received Mother Teresa International award 2026 in Singapore for outstanding achievement and contribution towards the marginalised children and communities from Ramesh Sippy( Director Hindi historical film SHOLEY), Padmini Kolhapuri, Rituparna Sengupta at Singapore, due to celebrate of 116 Birthday of Mother Teresa on 26th September 2026. This is a very special recognition, as it is the only award endorsed by the Missionaries of Charity in the name of St. Mother Teresa. In previous years, the award has been conferred upon several eminent personalities, including Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India; Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, former Vice President of India; Late Girija Prasad Koirala, former Prime Minister of Nepal; Ms. Sekh Hasina, former Prime Minister of Bangladesh,Late Jyoti Basu, former Chief Minister of West Bengal; Justice Shyamal Sen, former Governor of West Bengal; and Ms. Maneka Gandhi, animal rights activist and environmentalist, among others.
