Anandaghar is a care & protection giving unit for orphan and young adults living with HIV and strives for successful integration of youth in the mainstream society. This space is occupying a space of 36,300 sq.ft and the campus is surrounded with greenery and all required facilities along with 10,500 sq.ft construction area having two blocks at Gobindapur, southern outskirts of Kolkata. This is a residential care and support for children living with HIV, proving elementary education, adequate health care support and required additional supportive vocational education to the children marginalised by HIV/AIDS and abandoned on the streets. Since inception Anandaghar has been successful in parenting many HIV+ children. Many of them are completed their higher education and pursuing the internship opportunity. This has happened through passionate engagement of Corporates, Individual Donors and lot of support from eminent personalities from the field of Sports, Film, Music, Art and Politics. We are delighted to share that many children are living their life happily and earning with dignity.
