Proud Moment for OFFER India as Cafe Positive Receives Prestigious Award

We are overjoyed to share a proud moment from our journey. Cafe Positive — our special café in Kolkata, run by courageous HIV-positive individuals — has been honoured with the “Hospitality for a Cause Award” by IIHM and the International Hospitality Council London. The award was presented on April 25, 2025, on International Hospitality Day.

Cafe Positive was born from a simple but powerful dream at OFFER India: to offer those living with HIV not just a livelihood, but dignity, acceptance, and hope. It stands as a living symbol that stigma can be shattered and new beginnings are always possible.

This award recognises Cafe Positive as a one-of-a-kind initiative that blends compassion, innovation, and hospitality. By weaving social responsibility and environmental care into our everyday operations, we have created a space that stands for change, hope, and dignity.
