Centre for Opportunistic Infection (Proposed)

The four decades of selfless service, OFFER has been a steadfast advocate for orphaned and vulnerable children impacted by HIV/AIDS, providing care, support, and protection. Now the organisation is aiming to protect those vulnerable children more systematically and withv advanced HIV Care. In this noble purpose, OFFER is planning to establish a COI Hospital (Centre for Opportunistic Infection) in the end of this year 2025. The proposed 100-bed children's hospital aims to provide high-quality, specialized healthcare services to children and young adults. This hospital will offer a range of services, including Paediatric Medicine, Surgery, Intensive Care, and Emergency services.

The OFFER COI Hospital will be the first of its kind in the Kolkata region which will specifically addressing the critical gap in care for children suffering from HIV related opportunistic infections and conditions that can prove fatal without timely and improved specialised treatment. OFFER is aiming to provide the diagnostic services, advanced therapies, rehabilitation, nutritional support and also health education for care givers. It will help to improve the quality of life and life expectancy for these children and also will develop the system to combat with this situation in near future.
