The OFFER Hospital (Centre for Opportunistic Infection) launching in late 2025, will be a pioneering facility in Kolkata, addressing the critical care gap for children with HIV-related Opportunistic Infections (OIs). This 100-bed hospital in Dakshin Gobindapur, South 24 Parganas, will provide comprehensive services, including diagnostic care, advanced therapies, rehabilitation, nutritional support, blood transfusions for Thalassemia children, and health education for caregivers. Catering to underprivileged and marginalized children and young adults living with HIV, the hospital aims to improve their quality of life and life expectancy, while developing a robust system to combat OIs and provide dignified care at the community's doorstep.
